The Technology Meets Design award celebrates the best integration of technology that complements the design scheme for the room or home. The judges looked for projects that show a successful working partnership with the integrator and design and build industry partners and how these relationships contributed to the technology successfully being integrated into the property.
The judges said that this project was hard to fault. It is exceptional – both aesthetically and in terms of the thought that has gone into the technology. The finish and product delivered for the cost is outstanding.
This project also won the 2019 CEDIA award for Best Integrated Home Level I.
A freestanding Bang & Olufsen TV with a gold frame was installed for a contemporary yet retro feel.
A Future Automation sliding panel hides the screen when not in use.
